Dear Baby,
We've been very casual about the baby making process, but as I rear up on my 37th birthday, we've gotten a bit more serious. First, I've been reading up on the female reproductive system.
Who knew?
All I knew about creating babies could probably fit in a thimble before I started my studying. I've learned about ovulation signs, cervical mucus, eggs, sperm, and so much more.
Eighth grade health class had nothing on Taking Charge of Your Fertility, and many other books I've read in the meanwhile. I even bought a fertility monitor that measures my hormone levels to tell me the best times for trying.
It's an amazing project - and one with a worthwhile end.
Love,
Dear Mama
